On December 3, 1959, the Redwood Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America, Chapter No. 2068, was started by Ms. Maxine White.  The membership, which started with twenty-five students, has continued to grow throughout the years under the direction of long-standing adviser Ms. Doris Lowe. The chapter developed into a section of power under Ms. Lowe's leadership and passion. Mr. Jacob Avila, the present chapter adviser, began to guide the Redwood Chapter in January 2008.  Chapter membership in 2023-2024 has risen to over one hundred and sixty-one members. CHAPTER MISSION STATEMENT

Through a supportive and safe learning environment, Redwood FBLA’s mission is to offer an educational program that focuses on business, community, achievement, character, and honor for every member of the chapter.  As a result, Redwood FBLA members will:

• Communicate effectively

• Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills

• Be life-long learners

• Be goal-oriented

• Be problem solvers

• Demonstrate personal and civic responsibility
