ABOUT US

OUR CHAPTER

On December 3, 1959, the Redwood Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America, Chapter No. 2068, was started by Ms. Maxine White.  The membership, which started with twenty-five students, has continued to grow throughout the years under the direction of long-standing adviser Ms. Doris Lowe. The chapter developed into a section of power under Ms. Lowe's leadership and passion. Mr. Jacob Avila, the present chapter adviser, began to guide the Redwood Chapter in January 2008.  Chapter membership in 2023-2024 has risen to over one hundred and sixty-one members. Redwood FBLA is currently in its 65th year. Chapter Bylaws can be found here.


CHAPTER MISSION STATEMENT

Through a supportive and safe learning environment, Redwood FBLA’s mission is to offer an educational program that focuses on business, community, achievement, character, and honor for every member of the chapter.  As a result, Redwood FBLA members will:
